At the end of this session you will be more familiar with:

• ABCDE assessment of the critically unwell patient

• Airway management

• Reversible causes of cardiac arrest

• Shockable and unshockable heart rhythms

• Blood gas interpretation

ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Karl Qualified as a physician associate in 2018 from the University of Manchester. An anaesthetic operating department practitioner by background and currently works as a physician associate in nephrology in Northern Ireland. In addition Karl examines at the physician associate national OSCEs and writes questions for the SBA. He is currently a post-grad Medical Education student.
