Hello, my name is Berfin, and I am a physician associate student. I first learned about the matrix app near the end of my first term, when I was having trouble summarising my notes from textbooks and lectures, which I found overwhelming. The Matrix app was ideal because it allowed me to quickly and thoroughly learn the conditions while also allowing me to test my knowledge with questions after revising a condition. It's designed specifically for PAs, with a matrix specification of core clinical conditions that makes it simple to follow. The app also specifies the presentation, risk factors, investigations, management, and complications in accordance with NICE guidelines, allowing us to learn accurately with the most up-to-date guidelines. Personally, I prefer to take notes using matrix since I sometimes find lectures overwhelming and difficult to comprehend, and matrix explains everything clearly, allowing me to revise effectively. Overall, I am pleased with the app, particularly its recent update with SBA exam questions, which proved to be really useful throughout the exam period. Without Matrix, I feel I would have struggled to understand the course and all of the conditions, thus I am grateful for it and always recommend it to all of my friends for revision.
